![]() ![]() ![]() The most fun and improvement can be achieved when one only focuses on doing his/her best and improving as a player. It's pointless to blame game balance, potential maphacking, etc for one's losses. I played around 1500 1v1 ranked games in SC2 and one thing I learned is that NEVER to make excuses. Improvement happens quicker with the proper mindset. I want to get better at the RTS I'm playing. I personally despise cheating/hacking in competitive mutliplayer games and have never done it myself, but the sad fact is these kinds of things do exist and chances are they are here to stay. The best way to deal with maphackers as a player is to ignore them. This statement makes even less sense considering you are not playing at high levels (you mentioned you face lvl 1 opponents). That can't be true, there are players at the top of the ladder who got there with fair play. "I feel like I have to maphack just to compete." ![]()
